  • description: Today we have a design by Heinz and Saar - a very unusual design that uses a ram-jet design. This was a very difficult project since we were trying to get a theory to work with a very limited number of projectiles. The velocity had to be sub-sonic - which isn't easy to pull off since we were bleeding off some of the pressure through an orifice in the gas seal.
